Moved to Omaha and began my career with Telephone Company. Followed Merle around a few years while he was in Air Force and finally moved back to Vermillion where Merle finished his college. Then, back to Omaha area.
After 15 years of marriage, adopted our beautiful daughter (Keri) from
Korea. Six months later became parents for 3 more children (lost friends
in auto accident and agreed to raise their children). Josh, Joanna and
Jessica came into our lives. The next 15 years are a blurr-trying to
adjust to 4 kids after no kids for 15 years, work and be a mom. In 2001,
retired from telephone business and started to slow down. I work part-time
now and travel as much as possible with trips to Mexico, British Virgin
Islands, Belize and hopefully in 2007, to Australia. Will celebrated our
38th Wedding Anniversary in February and if I had it to do over again,
would do it the same way and marry the same! guy. Make it back to Vermillion often, as both of my parents are still there. Looking forward to seeing everyone!
