Attended USD, graduated with BS in Biology
Education. Was a Biology teacher in Hurley S.D. for seven years. That is
where I met Linda she was the Math teacher. Was married in 1978 and
then went back to school and obtained by associates degree in Nursing.
Worked in Yankton and Vermillion hospitals for the past 23 yrs as an RN.
We have two sons Josh and Matt. Josh just graduated from SDSU with degrees
in construction management and aviation. He was married in June and they
have moved to Oregon where she is enrolled in optometry school and he hoped
to find a job as an aviation instructor or working for the airlines. Matt
graduated from Lake Area Vo Tec with a degreee in aviation maintenance
and is enrolled at SDSU working on his BS in Aviation Management. Linda
graduated from seminary two years ago and is an ordained minister in the
Lutheran Church (so I am now a pastors spouse) and is currently waiting
for a call to serve a church somewhere here in the Midwest. I just finished
a two-year on-line program in RN first assisting and am waiting to take
national boards. Am currently unemployed and loving it, wish i could just
retire but the bills keep rolling in. Still live 10 miles west of
Vermillion on the family farm and enjoy the country life. |
