MY LIFE
........................
I graduated from USD in 1970 and moved to Denver. After working for an insurance adjustment company for three years, a co-worker asked me to take the LSAT with him, so I did. Unfortunately, I was offered a scholarship to law school and graduated in 1976. I say unfortunately because I ended up practicing law for 20 years even though I knew after about five that it wasn’t for me. I was more interested in traveling than anything though, so I went into practice with someone with the agreement that I could take three months off a year and he would cover for me. It worked out great and I was fortunate enough to be able to travel to many wonderful places. Finally though, I decided it was time to get a real job, so I went back to school and got a degree in Technical Writing. For the last nine years, I have been working as a technical writer for a software company and love it. It is totally stress free and gives me the time to concentrate on the things I really love: my partner of twenty years, marathon golf weekends, and learning about life. I still have a lot to learn, but the journey is the joy.
