My Life since 1966:
I went to USD for a year and a half them got married and had two children. My husband was in the Navy and we lived in Puerto Rico and Charlston, SC and then Sioux Falls after his disharge. After the divorce I moved back to Vermillion to help run the Cavalier and go to school. I ended up getting a BS degree in Sociology and Political Science and a law degree. I went into private practice in Sioux Falls doing criminal defense work (hated it). I then switched to my life work as a lawyer at East River Legal Services helping low income people with their legal problems. I specialized in family law, especially domestic violence work, and Social Security Disability law. I have been very active in civic and statewide groups over the years, presently chair of the SD Advocacy Network for Women. I started a program called Wheels To Work, which helps single families get a vehicle through donations from the public. In September, 2005 I had to retire due to increasing problems from post-polio syndrome.

I'm still doing some civic work to keep busy but I have to conserve my muscles, which are wearing out, so I do a lot of reading and e-mailing. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone. I had to miss the 20th due to a last minute emergency with one of my clients. I had a hard time figuring out who you all were in the 20th reunion picture. I quess we all have changed a lot. I'm pretty much a novice in e-mailing pictures but hopefully I'll get one submitted.
