Hmmm.... my life since VHS.  Here's the bare bones:  Went to the University of Kansas right after high school - flunked out after a semester - I got cast in 5 shows and pretty much lived theatre, till they told me I couldn't anymore; tried to get into the service (4F), bummed around California, went to college, got married (lasted 21 yrs) taught at Flandreau Indian School (theatre), started doing music full time, adopted 3 kids, moved to the Black Hills, did an arts council gig for 4 years, opened a recording studio, started doing documentary work in Indian country, got asthma, bought land, lost land, kept singing, got a divorce, got remarried - Jamie Lee, best thing I ever did, started doing Siddha Yoga, started doing radio documentaries, did piles of them, did a huge series on Native American music, found my biological family, Jamie and I worked together, found my biological daughter, continued producing documentaries, became a Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner, graduated to video, started doing websites.

So this is the facts, just the facts, mam, but it really doesn't tell you anything about me.  For that you need to come to the reunion.  But I will say this, life is truly amazing.  I'm still figuring it out, have come to depend on 4things: the Guru, the I Ching, Jin Shin Jyutsu, and Jamie Lee.  With 7 kids, 9 grandkids, I have learned some, but mostly everything I've learned or done has been wrong.  "What's it all about Mr. Natural? Don't mean shit!"   Hey, can't wait to see you guys!
UPDATE - since I wrote this I've become a correspondent for ROCKETBOOM.COM - which basically means that I spread the word of South Dakota and like that to about 100,000 folks around the world whenever they play one of my pieces (little video spots 3 minutes long). I'm loving this sooo much. Anyway, check out this Video Blog - vblog - it's a lot of fun.
UPDATE - Since the last time, even more has changed. Jamie has started taking some post graduate credit, at Appalachian State University.  I'm working on a new multi-media show on belonging - and Fatherhood (The Disappearing Dad).  Yep, gonna buy a new guitar and get to singing again - just gotta gotta gotta.  Also you have got to go see AN INCONVIENT TRUTH.
