• After VHS went to USD, and made it through 4 years of campus and fraternity life with a BA in 1970. 
• Followed Chris Anderson to Massachusetts, and landed a job with the B.S.A. north of Boston.   Convinced Chris to marry me in 1971.
• Transferred to Waterville Maine with the B.S.A. in 1973.   Ran, my first long distance (14 miles) road race later that year. 
• 1976 - Took a sales territory with Burroughs Welcome Pharmaceutical Co. in Central and Northern Maine.  Ran first marathon “Casco Bay” in Portland Maine.  
• 1980 – Broke 3 hour mark (2:58) at Marine Corp Marathon – DC.  (retired from marathons with 15 in 1994)
• 1983 – Ran Mt. Washington Road Race in N.H. & have completed this 7.6 mile 12% uphill climb every year since .  2006 will be 24 in a row.
• 1986 – Was promoted to District Sales Manager with BW Co. in Philadelphia, Pa.  Chris & I split later that year & were divorced in 1988.
• I couldn’t manage to stay single & fortunately married Amy in 1989 with Tod (24). & Kristen (30) married to Luis Durazo with our grand daughter Victoria (7) living on the West Coast.
• In the early ninety’s I put to use some of the musical skills learned at VHS and joined the 80 member choir at First Presbyterian Church in West Chester, & now enjoy playing trumpet in the brass ensemble, & occasional solos, as well.
• I’ve managed to stay employed most of the time since graduation from USD surviving  the Burroughs Wellcome / Glaxo merger in 1995, the Glaxo / Smith Kline Beecham merger in 2000.  January 2006 marked 30 years in the pharmaceutical industry.
